Preparing for Breathwork

Before a Session
It is best to avoid heavy foods and sugar on the day of your breathwork session, and to avoid drugs and alcohol for 24-48 hours before a session. You can also choose to avoid meat or even fast before a session, but general advice would be to listen to your body and give it what it asks for.

You must complete a registration form and agree to the waiver before you participate in a breathwork session, available here.
What to Bring
Please wear loose, warm clothing and bring a mat or blanket to lie on, and a bottle of water. You may also wish to bring an additional blanket to cover yourself and a small cushion to support your head or neck.

If you have booked a private session there is no need to bring anything.
After a Session
Please give yourself as much time as possible after a session to integrate your experience, going with what life brings but avoiding more intense experiences as much as is practical. Integration will likely take the remainder of the day but can also continue for the following 2-3 days. It is best to avoid alcohol and drugs during this time. Drawing or writing can also support the integration of your experience. A bath or shower can also help to complete the experience.
Online Sessions
It is important to only join an online breathwork session from a place that you won't be disturbed.

Music is an important part of the session and having a sound system or headphones prepared is highly recommended.

Prepare a place where you can lie down comfortably, ideally also with room to stretch and move. A mat or blanket on the floor is best, and beds should be avoided if possible. You should also prepare an additional blanket, a small cushion to support your head or neck, and a box of tissues, all within easy reach.

Each session will begin with some talking, but please have a position prepared for your device so that the breathwork facilitator can see you during the session.

Sessions are completely confidential and are not recorded in any way.
